About Me.
I am an Artist/Educator living and working in beautiful Northwest Arkansas! I have been teaching primarily High School Visual Art since 2013, but I am embarking on a new journey as a Theatre/Forensics/Debate coach this year as well. Outside of my full time work I love teaching adults, mentoring new teachers, creating art and music, and being outside as much as I possibly can.
All of my work is handmade primarily from clay, cloth, fiber, and glass and features imagery inspired by nature, anatomy, and Horror/Sci-Fi/Fantasy pop-culture. I enjoy blurring the line between sculpture and function by crafting highly detailed, dynamic forms in my jewelry, pottery, sculptures, and fiber art.

Outside of teaching and creating art, I love skating, biking, and hiking on our beautiful trails, floating and swimming in our gorgeous creeks, rivers, and lakes, and camping whenever possible. I'm determined to learn to start a fire using primitive methods by the end of the year!
